Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2, 2026
1. Introduction
Safety For Generations (“SFG”, “we”, “us”) provides household-preparedness resources and operates the G Band and PASS (Personal Artificial Safety System) platform. This policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and share information.
2. Family Readiness Check
The Family Readiness Check asks non-medical questions about planning, water, supplies, communications, utilities, local alerts, and practice. Your result is calculated in your browser. We do not ask for an address, age, child identity, diagnosis, medication, allergy, or other medical information in this assessment.
If you ask us to email your plan, we collect your first name, email address, assessment answers and result, and limited campaign-source information. A phone number is collected only when you separately choose SMS marketing. Email marketing and SMS marketing choices are optional and unchecked by default.
3. PASS and G Band Information
Account Information: Information used to create, verify, and manage an account, such as a phone number and email address.
Emergency Profile Information: Information a profile owner chooses to include, which may include a first name, age or age range, emergency contacts, and emergency or medical details.
Scan Data: When an authorized SFG scannable is used, we may record operational events needed to provide the service and notifications.
Scanner Data: SFG does not require a bystander to create an account to view the information a profile owner has chosen to disclose.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to calculate and deliver requested readiness results, provide requested products and services, operate PASS and G Band features, secure the service, respond to support requests, and comply with law. We send marketing email or text messages only when the corresponding optional choice has been made. Consent to marketing is not a condition of purchase.
5. Children's Privacy
The readiness assessment is directed to adults and does not ask for a child's personal information. PASS profile owners are responsible for having the authority required to create or manage a profile for another person. Parents and guardians may review, update, or delete information through the applicable PASS controls or by contacting us.
6. Security and Data Minimization
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and service. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Readiness answers remain in the browser unless the email form is submitted. Person-specific persistent emergency and medical profiles are managed by PASS, not by CEG or the readiness assessment.
7. Service Providers and Sharing
We may share information with service providers that help us host the site, deliver requested emails or texts, process purchases, provide customer support, and secure the service. They may use information only for the services they provide to us. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect safety, rights, and security. We do not sell personal information.
8. Your Choices
You can leave the readiness assessment without submitting contact information. You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in a message. For marketing texts, reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. You may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us. Some records may be retained when required for security, legal compliance, or transaction records.
